I have been a Lenswork subscriber for a while and enjoy listening to the podcast and viewing the PNC videos. I particularly liked this podcast on workshops. I downloaded the pdf and will read it soon.

After attending a couple of classes at ICP I decided to try workshops. The last four summers I attended ones at Maine Media Workshops, ones I selected because of the instructors. I came away from each having added to my creative energy, and list of friends. I also found that having a group, together every day for a period of time and with a common interest, critiquing work is also quite useful. I am about to try a different format, the Palm Springs Photo Festival, where I will attend a workshop again chosen by who the photographer is and the kind of work he does.

Thank you for verbalizing your thoughts on this. I agree that one can get so much from the workshop format.

When one teaches, two learn.

I very much enjoyed this podcast! It has really made me re-think my wish-list for photo workshops, and I thank you for that. Makes tons of sense to me!

Cheers!
Ted
