I really appreciate having this formula. It makes so much sense but I guess I never thought about it. I was just looking at several project I have done using Lightroom and was surprised how many of my projects fit this model. Yet, I usually pick the one-shot wonder... as you call it.

I think the issue is that as a camera club member, I am used to competitions where we show only one image and receive commentary from judges. I recently created a "trip tik" with three images trying to tell a simple story. Although the judge appreciated the work and said the images were well executed, he scored it low.

I guess that's the problem. If we follow the PSA's guidelines we can be limiting ourselves.
