If you are new to this monthly, Kokoro is my playground for images and ideas. This month's anthology includes a bit of landscape from Yosemite and the desert Southwest, some work from Japan and China, and from an old Victorian building I photographed in 2007.
This wraps up the inaugural year and the 2015 edition of Kokoro. When I started this project in January of last year, I had envisioned Kokoro as a sort of digital magazine of my personal artwork. I had no idea it would be this much fun putting it all together! All told, the 9 compilations of 2015 include 66 different topics, 782 pages, and 818 photographs. Funny how a regular deadline and a vision for one's work can be motivators that help propel the work forward.
Now on to Volume 2, with another year of Kokoro on tap for 2016!
