Chapbooks workshop?
I was wondering whether you are planning on doing a tutorial on making chapbooks (what's the derivation of that term anyway?) like you have for folios, etc.? (I'm assuming I haven't missed it somewhere in the online stacks.) Would be very interested.

Thanks for asking. Yes, I'm already working on a new workshop, although I have to admit I've made less progress on it than I'd like due to the fact that I'm so busy making new chapbooks! I am, nonetheless, anxious to share what I've learned over the years and hope to have a finished Visual Workshop sometime in the fall.
We're in the process of developing the content outline now. The workshop will cover both chapbooks and keepsakes, one-sided printing alternatives as well as two-sided folding pages, glued and hand-sewn binding alternatives, and the fascinating world of handmade art papers. We'll also be providing lots of InDesign templates for printer layouts. This world is so much fun, I can't wait to dig in and start the video recording in the next few weeks.
As we've done with our other workshops, it will be available to LensWork Online members as a membership benefit via streaming video, and for purchase on disc from our new online store for anyone interested.

YAY! As a lover of the printed page, I'm looking forward to the video workshop.

I was wondering how far you have got with making the video tutorials for the chap books please

I'm embarrassed and sorry to say that the project got stuck in the move of our offices. We are still building the new video studio and won't be able to start recording for a couple of weeks. At this point, I'm not sure I have a solid delivery date. We'll try to do a better job of keeping your informed. Stay tuned!
