That is a truly wonderful statement.

I've always hoped I could convey such meaningful things, but instead, all that seems to come out is "me take pretty pictures". Thank goodness there are people far more expressively literate than I.


Nicely stated. That's a good counter-argument for those who feel nothing has credit-worthy value unless it has been "pre-visualized" - with conception, intention and execution all enclosed within one neat readymade wrapper.

As if art were nothing more than a re-mapping excursion, setting out to explore only already-known terrain.
